Description: The International DFG Research Training Group “Computational Methods for the Analysis of the Diversity and Dynamics of Genomes” (GRK 1906/1) at Bielefeld University, Germany, offers six PhD positions starting October 2016 (3-years positions; paid according to German TV-L 13 table).
The graduate program involves a six-month research stay at Simon Fraser University or one of the other partner institutions in Vancouver, Canada. (Funds to support parents and challenged persons are available.)

Requirements: Master degree or equivalent in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related areas, and demonstrate deep knowledge in the area they apply for. Language skills in English are required.
